Can Christianity and witchcraft ever align? We delve into this perplexing question as we confront the concept of Christian Witchcraft and the divisive ideologies infiltrating our faith's narrative. With a keen eye on scriptural authenticity, we dissect the juxtaposition of biblical warnings against sorcery with the burgeoning community of self-proclaimed "Christian witches." This episode isn't just a theological debate; it's a clarion call for unity and adherence to the Gospel's message of redemption through Jesus Christ. As we navigate the murky waters of Jesus's identity and the canonization of the Bible, our focus sharpens on the importance of selecting religious texts with precision, ensuring the preservation of the doctrinal purity that has guided generations.

Venture with us into the theological labyrinth where the pursuit of knowledge meets faith. The Garden of Eden story sets the stage for our exploration of humanity's original sin and the consequences of yearning for divine wisdom. We tease an upcoming live stream that promises to illuminate the spiritual gifts, such as prophecy, that believers may claim—revealing a life purpose intertwined with God's grand design. In these moments of reflection, we grapple with claims likening Jesus's knowledge to that of a witch's, a notion that serves to remind us of the intricate dance between faith interpretation and scriptural understanding. Join us and be part of a conversation that dares to challenge, enlighten, and uplift.

So we're going on with the whole witchcraft thing about Jesus. Now, the reason we're going on with this is because there's several of them and I only break it up with that little thing just so when I'm editing. It actually makes it pretty quick, so I can go and cut it down pretty quick. So now for those who let's see, if they're saying that Jesus was a witch okay, there are people that are saying that they are Christian witches alright. And what does that mean? Well, that means that they are taking the Word of God completely out of the equation, because if you look in Deuteronomy, chapter 18, it says right here for example, never sacrifice your son or daughter as a burnt offering and do not let people, your people practice fortune telling, use sorcery, interpret omens or engage in witchcraft. None of these things are permissible by God. They are not holy acts.

Speaker 2:

Now, what does that mean? If you're thinking like a raw sense of, like actual logical thinking, which here on this channel, we want to critically think about everything, that means that things like this are available to the person to actually act in it. That's why the Bible speaks against it, because, even though we are physical beings, there are spiritual elements and realms all around us that we can't even fathom or understand. So people get curious about those types of things and they want to start diving into that sort of stuff, and the Bible says that it is dangerous. You are inviting things into your life that you do not understand. So let's watch this dude right here.

Speaker 1:

This is a point that they don't want to admit. This is a point that they would never admit. They could not possibly admit over there that the things that Jesus does are some form of witchcraft, that they would have to be tied to witchcraft, that things that he does and the symbolism that surrounds him is all witchcraft in nature. This would absolutely, completely boggle their mind and it bothers them entirely. And I agree. I mean, but let's be for real they can't even agree on what Jesus is. They can't agree on what he looks like. They still portray him as a white man when realistically, scientifically, we know that there is no way humanly possible, based on the region in which he was born, that he was a pale skinned, blue-eyed man.

Speaker 2:

I apologize, I did not know there was that much language in this. This was sent to me. I did not watch it beforehand, so we're not going to keep on watching that because I don't like his attitude or his voice, anyways, but that is a common theme. That is a common theme is that we can't admit, we don't understand, we can't agree. Listen, the one thing you need to agree on is that Jesus Christ came to die for everyone, for all sinners, that he came down from the Father, lived a sinless, blameless life. The other stuff is semantics. The Trinity is a you have. I mean it's a.

Speaker 2:

If you believe in certain things, it's pretty much heretical, which means it's against the word of God and it's not biblical, because there are certain things in the word that are unbending like. You cannot change what they are. You cannot change the facts in the Bible. But there's also other things that you may like. For instance, I forget what book it's in, but it says prayer and fasting Okay, a casting out demons, heal the sick things like that. A lot of scholars agree that that part of fasting Was added later. Now. Here's the facts. It really doesn't matter if you believe that Jesus is the one true son of God and you say that the Bible is Infallible, the Bible is the authoritative word of God, that what it says is authority in my life, it's authority in your life, and you're not saying that certain things are okay and certain things are not, then we should be loving each other in Christ. Yeah, exactly, cassie said if you get hung up on the trivial stuff, like what he looked like, etc. You're missing the point. And that's exactly right. And so this is. This is a very divisive thing of the enemy is that he wants us to Bicker and fight inside of the body of believers so that the parts start to work against each other and separate. And I believe with all of my heart Now, what? Now? This is what I know, like the Nicene Creed, where they begin to pick apart they. They begin to, really, when things begin to get canonized in the Bible which means it's a complete from, from the Genesis to Revelation they begin to put everything together, put the pieces together, decide what will go in, what will not go in.

Speaker 2:

You have to argue, you have to fight, you have to push back. It's called debate, it's called working through things together. That's like saying that, well, if you ever disagree or argue with anybody. You're just a little sight lover and you hate everybody. That doesn't even make sense. That's not even logical common sense. Just because I argue or I disagree or I have a debate with somebody does not make me Love them any less. That just means that we're not seeing on the set, we're not seeing it from the same perspective, which is okay. It doesn't mean anybody's any less of a god lover or any more of a devil lover If we don't agree on what a certain thing or certain text says, or what scripture or what Bible to read from. As far as like translation. But do stay away from the passion translation because that's apparently there's a bunch stuff in there that's not even close to the actual text. So we're going to look at this. So the reason I brought up this guy you can't even. You can't even handle if Jesus was a witch. So think about this.

Speaker 2:

So in the very beginning, the serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals and the Lord God that God had made. One day he asked the woman did God really say that you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden? Of course we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, the woman. It's only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said you must not eat it or even touch it. If you do, you will die. First of all. I don't think, if I remember correctly, god didn't tell them not to touch it. He just said to not partake of it, to not eat from it. So that was something she Added not listen to what the serpent said. You won't die. The serpent applied to the woman. God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it and you will be like God, knowing both Good and evil.

Speaker 2:

So here's the issue. The reason that they fell was a pursuit of knowledge. I tell my people this all the time in my church. I say you know, in the garden, the reason that they ended up having to leave and we're in the Generational sin that we are today, that we are now in sinful nature, is because at one point in time and Now all of us are wanting to be or know what God knows Like.

Speaker 2:

I can't name how many things in my life that I just wanted to know, that I could not handle not knowing, and even in Prophecy in the gifts of the spirit, which I'm actually thinking about tomorrow, is a. It's still icy and stuff out here I may live stream. Tomorrow we may be talking about gifts of the spirit. I really want to cover that with you guys so you guys can have something to To really study the Bible with and understand what is available to us in the spiritual realm, like there is more than just coexisting in life with each other. There's more. God has more for every single believer and we have scripture to back that up but the pursuit of knowledge Like this dude right here. Thanks that we can't understand or even fathom the knowledge that Jesus might have been a witch.
